  • RL.7.1: Cite several pieces of textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says as well as inferences drawn from the text.

    RI 7.4: Determine the meaning of words and phrases as they are used in a text; analyze the impact of a specific word choice on meaning and tone.

    RI 7.8: Trace and evaluate the argument and specific claims in a text, assessing whether the reasoning is sound and the evidence is relevant and sufficient to support the claims

  • 7.RP.2.b Identify unit rate (constant of proportionality) between 2 quantities in a proportional relationship using tables, equations, and verbal descriptions.

    7.RP.2.c Create equations and graphs to represent proportional relationships.

  • 7.L.2 Understand the relationship of the mechanisms/components of cellular reproduction, patterns of inheritance and external factors to potential variation and survival among offspring.

  • W.7.1: Write arguments to support clear reasons and relevant evidence.

    W.7.2: Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas, concepts, and information through the selection, organization, and analysis of relevant content. Students use multiple pieces of evidence from the text to support their analysis of what the text directly and indirectly states.
